Live On Podcast Playlist for CBC Radio
I was invited by The Spoke to tell a story representing them for a live recording of CBC Radio's Podcast Playlist with Matt Galloway and Lindsay Michael. They recorded me, but I ended up being cut from the live broadcast. They put me on a few months later on a different episode. Recorded live before a packed house at The Hot Docs Theatre in Toronto. It was a fantastic honour to be part of it.

Risk!
Risk! is one of my favourite podcasts, and the only podcast that I listen to every week and never miss. Think of it like an XXX rated The Moth, but on crack. Kevin Allison is just a sweetheart of a guy and a joy to visit when he comes to town. My first appearance made it onto their Best of, so it gets posted twice.
These were all recorded to sold out audiences at The Great Hall in Toronto.

Thrown to The Wolves
On Nov 16, Gerard Harris, Carlyn Rhamey, Paul Hutcheson, Corin Raymond and Morgan Jones Phillips bravely took to the stage to be thrown to the wolves in the backroom of The Cameron House. Five wonderful storytellers walked onstage and spontaneously shared stories with each other and the audience about everything from terrifying elementary school teachers to medications. No prep, no planning, no pre-designated theme. Just funny people relaxed and making people laugh. I enjoy the show because I feel like as much an audience member as a performer.
It was madly fun. I knew it was a good sign when the original line up all made themselves available to return. The addition of Corin Raymond made it especially special for me.

My story about sign language on Captain Eyeliner
Nobu Adilman is known for a lot of things: TV host, character on Trailer Park Boys, director of Choir! Choir! Choir! and the creation of this short lived, but very interesting podcast that he called Captain Eyeliner, but he will always be known to me as the man who gave me my first cat, Puffy.
I appear at 7:20 on episode 4, which is called Hearing Voices. Follow up note, in grade 6, my daughter started learning sign and she is now quite functional. I enjoy signing with her.
Totally unrelated fact. Nobu's father, Sid Adilman, was a renowned entertainment writer and he wrote a favourable review of my father's film, Alligator Shoes, in 1981.
Morgan on Humble and Fred Jan 6, 2016
I grew up listening to Humble and Fred, so it was amazing to meet them. I'm no longer a teenager, but they haven't changed at all. I've been on Humble and Fred twice.
